§ 1 Information on collecting personal data
(1) In the following we would like to inform you about collecting personal data when using our website. Personal identification information comprises all data that are personally related to you. For instance: name, address, email address, user behaviour.

§ 2 Collecting personal information and purposes
(1) When visiting the website just for informational use, that is if you do not register or transmit other information, we only collect the personal information that your browser transmits to the server.
If you intend to visit our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary to display the website to you and to guarantee stability and security (legal base is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR):
 
  • IP address
  • Date and time of the request
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Content of the request (concrete page)
  • Access status / HTTP status code, amount of data transferred
  • Website from which the request came
  • Browser
  • Operating system and its interface
  • Language and version of the browser software.
 
(2) Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our services more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They will be automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can configure your browser in such a way that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases or exclude them in general as well as to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

(3) Contact by email, phone or letter
If you contact us by email, phone or letter, we only collect personal data that you provide voluntarily. If you send us an email to the email address provided on this website, we only save the user data transmitted by email. If you contact us by letter or by phone, we save the transmitted user data. We use the stored data exclusively for the purpose for which you transmitted the data to us, such as for processing an inquiry, pre-contractual as well as contractual matters. The legal basis results from Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

(4) Application
If you apply for a job with us, we will only process data related to your application. These can be general data about yourself (name, address, contact details), information about professional qualifications and school education, information about professional training and, if necessary, other data which you transmit to us in connection with your application.
The legal basis for this is Article 88 GDPR in conjunction with § 26 BDSG-neu and Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for the initiation or implementation of contractual relationships.

Furthermore, we can process your personal data, provided this is necessary to fulfil legal obligations according to Article 6(1)(c) GDPR or to defend legal claims against us. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is, for example, a burden of proof in a procedure under the Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

If there is an employment relationship between you and us, we may process the personal data already received from you for the purpose of the employment relationship in accordance with Art. 88, GDPR in conjunction with § 26 BDSG-neu, insofar as this is necessary for the implementation or termination of the employment relationship or to exercise or fulfil the rights and obligations arising from any law or collective agreement a company or service agreement, to represent the interests of employees.

§ 3 Recipient-related data
We only pass on your personal data within our corporate association to those areas and persons who need the data to fulfil contractual and legal obligations or to implement our legitimate interests.

We also use contract processors for processing especially in the IT area. They process your data for us and are obliged to handle the data carefully. Such contract processing exists, for example, when we store data in an external data centre. We have contract processors in the following areas:
 
  • IT
  • logistics and
  • telecommunications
 
Any further data transfer outside of our company will otherwise only take place to the extent permitted or required by law, if the transfer is necessary to fulfil legal obligations or if we have your consent..

§ 4 Storage period
We delete the data transmitted in connection with a telephone, written or e-mail request after the storage is no longer required or we restrict the processing if there are any statutory retention requirements.

We store your personal data that you have transmitted to us as part of an application for a maximum of six months after the end of the application process (i.e. notification of the rejection decision), unless a longer storage period is legally required or permitted. In addition, we only save your personal data insofar as this is required by law or in a specific case to assert, exercise or defend legal claims for the duration of a legal dispute. In the event that you have consented to your personal data being stored for a longer period, we will store them in accordance with your declaration of consent. If, following the application process, an employment, training or internship relationship comes about, your data will initially continue to be stored, as far as necessary and permissible, and then transferred to the personnel file.

§ 5 Your rights as data subject
(1) You have the following rights as regards your personal data:

  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to data portability
 
(2) You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us. You can find a list of the supervisory authorities here . . .

§ 6 Adaptation of the data protection declaration
We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, i.e. when introducing new services. The new data protection declaration will then apply to your next visit.
